The football association and the England football team today backed the Government’s campaign “It doesn’t have to happen” to tackle knife crime urging young people not to carry knives. The injuries and deaths don’t have to happen! Stop knife crime! Many young people out there have experienced the terrible effects of knife crime.

David Beckham has joined this campaign and other England football stars to call on young people to stop carrying knives. He said we must support this campaign, no one want to pack their children off to school in the morning and then never see them again. How many young people suffer from knife crime? It doesn’t have to happen, a grief doesn’t have to happen and we shouldn’t live in fear.
