On the evening of October 31st, Halloween is celebrated. It is the time where little witches, rubber-masked imps and bed-sheeted ghosts shout “Trick or Treat!” for candy. The origin of trick or treat is to satisfy the hunger of the demons, if he was satisfied with the treat, he will not trick or cast an evil spell.

The legend says people have to wear masks or other disguise and blacken their faces to pass unnoticed by the spirits. If demon saw another creature looking suitably horrible, they would run away! Haha.. I guess the demon cannot see his own reflection, isn’t he?

Mmmm.. I love crab! But, sometimes it is hard for me to differentiate between the male and female crab. The crab seller told me that male crabs are always bigger, and easier to clean and dress. Male’s claws are larger than the female’s. This make male crab is always more expensive than hen crabs.  Some good tips when dealing with crabs are choose one that’s aggressive and therefore healthy, rather than the passive and sleepy one. Try to find a heavier rather than a lighter crab as the light one may have watery flesh.
